LEAVE BENEFIT TO PART TIME TEACHERS

i) Casual Leave of 8 days in a calendar year. The details of Casual Leave availed by the teacher should be entered in the Casual Leave Register and the same is to be forwarded from one school to another if he/she is working in more than one school or to the new station if the incumbent is transferred. This has to be done in Form No. 16 in the list of forms provided after Appendix XII C KSR. 

ii) Maternity leave of 6 months. 

iii) Six'weeks leave for miscarriage with full pay and allowance.

iv) Leave on Medical Certificate on half pay of a period of 10 days a calendar year in special circumstances, when casual Leave and Earned Leave (if any) is exhausted. No commutation of such HPL is allowed since this leave on half pay is not equivalent of HPL provided in Rule (93) Part I KSR. 

v) The earned leave admissible to part time teachers in respect of any year in which he is prevented from availing himself of the full vacation, is such proportion of 30 days as the number of days of vacation not taken bears to the full vacation provided that no earned leave is admissible to part time teachers in respect of first year of service. The leave accrued during part time service is not permitted to be carry forward to full time service. 

vi) Leave Without Allowance for a period of 30 days in case of exigencies in a calendar year when no other leave is admissible. -

This order has no retrospective effect.
